The idea of standing up and paddling originated thousands of years ago, with many water based cultures standing in canoes using a single paddle. This allows you to see the world as if you were walking on water, whilst activating your core, keeping you fit. Stand up paddle boards are larger than surf boards, making them more stable. The paddle is longer than a canoe paddle with a single blade.

Cadgwith Cove offers spectacular scenery and is a traditional Cornish village where fishermen continue to make their living from the sea. It is worth making the time to buy fish and shellfish straight from the fishermen as they return with their catch of the day. Cadgwith is everything a Cornish fishing village should be, with thatched cottages, a stream winding down the valley and onto the sand and shingle beach. Fishing boats lie on the slip way waiting for their next trip. Enjoy an ice cream looking out over the cliffs, or relax on the terrace outside the pub. A beautifully sheltered coastal retreat that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
