Paddle Boarding >>

The idea of standing up and paddling originated thousands of years ago, with many water based cultures standing in canoes using a single paddle. This allows you to see the world as if you were walking on water, whilst activating your core, keeping you fit. Stand up paddle boards are larger than surf boards, making them more stable. The paddle is longer than a canoe paddle with a single blade.

Lizard Adventure Paddle Boarding

We have two great locations for you to try this new activity or improve your skills. Guided trips on the sea from Cagdwith Cove on the Lizard last for 3 hours, or choose Hayle Harbour for a more sheltered 2 hour trip on the estuary. Cadgwith Cove offers spectacular coastal scenery and is a traditional Cornish village complete with thatched cottages. Hayle is a small town in the beautiful St Ives Bay where you can paddle up the estuary to the shops and stop off for an ice cream on the way! Both locations have at least one cafe, pub/bar and shop.
