Get away from it all and savour a seal’s eye view of the Cornish coastline from a kayak. Depending on where you launch you may visit islands, go into caves, go through gaps, see seals and other wildlife and investigate the rugged coastline.

We are lucky enough to have three venues for our kayaking: Mullion Harbour, Cadgwith Cove and Hayle Harbour. Mullion and Cadgwith are both well-known harbours on the Lizard peninsula with active fishing fleets. You can often buy the fresh crabs or lobsters almost straight off the boats! Hayle harbour is a picturesque busy harbour where you can enjoy a tour of the estuary and observe a wide variety of amazing bird life. On our booking page you can choose between kayaking in Hayle (2 hours) or on the Lizard (3 hours). Timings of sessions in Hayle will vary due to the tide times. The location of your trip is dependent on the sea conditions and tide - all the details will be confirmed when you book.

We have top quality sit-on-top kayaks that are very stable and suitable for all ability levels. Our guides are fully qualified to BCU Level 2 Coach, and often higher. Our guides will run through safety procedures on the beach and explain basic paddling techniques. If you would like to take your skills further, have a look at our training courses.

You are provided with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. You will need to bring swimwear, a towel, and old trainers or beach shoes.
